DESCRIPTION

The KUNBUS-COM communication interfaces (DPV1, DPV0, PROFIBUS Adapter, GSD, PROFIBUS Slave) were developed building on the KUNBUS-IC version. The version PROFIBUS DPV0/DPV1 includes all important components like plug-in connectors for the bus connection, an SMC plug (32 pins) to the control or the application, an optoelectronic coupler, memory, microcontroller, and the bus drivers.

The connection between the COM module PROFIBUS DPV0/DPV1 with the control or the application is made simply with a cable or by plugging-in. Because of the uniform pin-out of all COM modules, they can be replaced easily by other variants (for example DeviceNet, CANopen, etc.). They thus serve as option cards.
